This page is devoted to web sites that I have created during the course of my Web Development class. We first learned what HTML coding was, and then we learned the specific codes for the things that we needed to do. We started off creating our web sites in Notepad, and then after we had mastered that, we moved on to creating them in Dreamweaver. The program we are using is Macromedia Dreamweaver MX 2004. This program allows you to just enter what you want on a page, without having to enter in all of the HTML coding yourself. You learn to really appreciate this program after you create a few sites on Notepad.
We have also had to learn the correct way to design a web site. Creating a web site is not as easy as some people may think. There is a lot of planning and research involved. You need to know who your target is, and also the best way to reach them. You also have to make sure that you design your site around a few specific guidelines. Make sure that your canvas isn't bigger than 650 pixels wide, anything larger won't print. Also, make sure that your colors don't clash. Here are some of the web sites I have created in Notepad and Dreamweaver.
