In order to succeed on this field, you need an interdisciplinary background. There are many courses that you should take. You should take courses in social sciences, business, and behavioral science. You may also need courses in compensation, recruitment, training and development, and in principles of management. Other very important courses include business administration, psychology, sociology, public administration, political science, and many others.
Most companies prefer a bachelors degree in human resources, but some may consider those with an associates degree.

Some High School classes that you could take to help prepare you are computers, math classes, and science classes. You should take all Social Studies classes that you can, and also business and computer classes. While you are in college you should major in Human Resources.
